今日は特別なことは何もしていない。ずっと家にいただけ。
"do anything special" は「何か[特別](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/34603/)なことをする」という意味の表現です。もし肯定文の中で使う場合は "something" にしましょう。
"just" は「単に、ただ〜だけ」ということを表します。
"stay home" は「[家にいる](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/59809/)」ということで、他に "be at home" と言うこともできます。
この後に "Just stayed home and watched a movie/cleaned my room/studied English." などのように、家で何をしたのかを話すのも良いでしょう。
I didn't do anything, I just stayed home and relaxed.
uneventful - An uneventful time or situation is one in which nothing interesting or surprising happens.
Boring - not interesting or exciting.
"My day was very boring". If you feel negative about having not done anything all day or perhaps you could say "I didn't do anything, I just stayed at home and relaxed" if you are happy that you had an uneventful day.
uneventful(平穏)
- "Uneventful time"(平穏な時間)または"uneventful situation"(平穏な状況)とは興味深いまたは驚くことが全く起こらないことです。
Boring(退屈な) - 興味深くないまたは興奮しないことです。
"My day was very boring"
(私の1日はとても退屈でした)
1日中何もしなかったことに関して否定的に感じる場合です。
平穏な1日を過ごしたことに関して嬉しく思っている場合は、
“I didn't do anything, I just stayed at home and relaxed"
(何もせずに家でリラックスしました)
と言うこともできます。

Lazy day= doing nothing and just lay and watch TV or sleep.
>▪Did not do much
This means you did nothing.

Lazy day= 何もせず、ただごろごろしてテレビを見たり、眠ること

To watch paint dry = To watch something that has virtually no movement, hence, something very boring.
"I expected his new play to be as good as the last, but it was like watching paint dry."
Same old, same old = used to convey that something is drearily predictable or familiar.
"The game's fantasy setting is the same old, same old."
・To watch paint dry = まったく動かない物を見つめること、つまりとてもつまらないこと
【例文】
"I expected his new play to be as good as the last, but it was like watching paint dry."
（彼の新しいお芝居は前回と同じくらいいいと期待していたんだけど、とてもつまらなかった）
・Same old, same old = 何かが予測可能である、または馴染みがあることを伝えるのに使用される。
【例文】
"The game's fantasy setting is the same old, same old."

Both of these sentences would be a great answer to the question 'How was your day?', if we did nothing. The word lounge is a common word and would be great to add to your vocabulary. We also use 'lazy day' if we tell someone we don't want to do anything. For example if I were to say "I need a lazy day!" that means I need a day to relax.
これらの文は両方共、もし何もしていないのなら、”今日はどうだった”という質問への素晴らしい答えになるでしょう。loungeという語はよく使う語で、あなたのボキャブラリーに加えておくと良いでしょう。何もしたくないということを人に言いたいのであれば、 'lazy day' という語も使います。

I did nothing other than relaxing on the couch today
In the first sentence, 'I was just lazing around at home today, you have used the verb to 'laze' in its present participle tense. 'Laze' means to 'idle or lounge lazily'.
In the second sentence, you have used the phrasal adverb 'other than', which means 'in another and different manner'. Then you proceeded to use the verb to 'relax' in its present participle tense 'relaxing'. The verb to 'relax' has several meanings, but, in this context, it means ' to (cause someone to) become less active and more calm and happy, or to (cause a part of the body to) become less stiff'.

'I was just lazing around at home today'
では、現在時制では'laze'と言う動詞を使いました。
'Laze'は'idle or lounge lazily'（だらだらと行動すること）です。
二つ目の文では、'other than'と言う副詞的なフレーズを使用しています。
それは、'in another and different manner'（他の、異なる方式）という意味です。
そして'relax'を現在進行形で'relaxing'として使っています。
