「もうそろそろ」とは、

"high time" は「もういい加減に○○やらないと」また「やらないとチャンスを逃す」ニュアンス。
「買い替え」とは
[単数] get a new
[複数] get some new
単数なのに、複数を表す"s"が付いた"glasses"や"pants"を複数として扱います。

相手に対して「...する時間だよ」と言いたい場合は It's time to do something. と言えばＯＫです。
例）It's time to go to bed.（そろそろ寝る時間ですよ。）*例えば子供たちにむかって
Alright, they're broken. It's time for new glasses.
I need to buy new glasses soon. These ones are falling apart!
"Alright" is expressing that your breaking your glasses is what is making you buy new glasses. It suggests that maybe you've been putting it off but now you have to.
"Soon" implies that you need to do it in the near future but it's not necessarily urgent.
If you use the term ' it's about time' it means that you need to do something soon/in the near future you could also say 'I need to get new glasses soon'
It's about time'は「そろそろ～しないといけない」という意味です。
また、'I need to get new glasses soon'（そろそろ新しい眼鏡を買わないといけない）と言うこともできます。
The two sentences you see provided above are terrific ways to express to your listener that you need to get new eye glasses. In the first sentence you will see the term trade in something.
