「お知らせ」はnotification、「決定」はdecisionです。
「決定のお知らせがありました」という日本語に対しては
①と②どちらの表現でもOKですが、
①のほうが よりフォーマルな印象です。
「海外研修の募集にエントリーした結果をもらった」のように
どんな結果について話しているかを明確に述べたい場合、
３つ目の英文もおすすめです。
「お知らせ」→「Notification」
「決定」→「Decision」
「Results」→「結果」、これも同じ意味なのでこの場合に使えます。
英語では「決定のお知らせ」ではなく「決定についてお知らせ」というので、
「Regarding」→「について」
まとめて言いますと、
「There was a notification regarding the decision.」
「There was a notification regarding the results.」
という二つの文章で表現できます。
