Hey Yuuki! A: The fee is $200. You can also get wifi. B: Is the wifi included? A: No, there's a service charge of $10 per day.

The additional charge for service apart from food and drink may be called a number of things. It could be a 'service charge.' This may be added as a percentage of the final bill. For example: "Your bill comes to $100 plus $15 service charge, totalling $115 dollars." Other restaurants may make a 'cover charge which may be an additional price per person, or per table. In some European countries, especially Italy, a seating or sit down charge is quite common. A person who sits with friends at a table but does not order anything may also (rarely in the UK) be subject to a seating charge.
例 "Your bill comes to $100 plus $15 service charge, totalling $115 dollars."

  • I am not sure I like the idea of a service charge! It should be part of the job, to serve food!

Service charges are often added to your bill in certain restuarants or eateries. (I am of the opinion its unfair! ) We are there to eat and as part of that task, people serve us food...Its their job! (So why am I paying extra for it?) I always try avoid restuarants that charge Service fees!
Service charges
