The concert is ongoing until 10 o'clock.ではおかしいでしょうか？？
ネイティブの方が、「イベントは10月までやっている」というのを "The event is ongoing until October"と言っていて、期間が現在からさほど遠くない場合にも同じように言えるのか気になりました。
「…までやってる」を英語で言いたい時「…に終わる」の言い方を使うと分かりやすいと思います。
The event ends in October.
The concert ends at 10.
どうしても「…までやってる」の形で言いたいなら、
The concert is on until 10.
The event is on until October.
この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。
ーThe concert goes until 10 o'clock.
「コンサートは10時までやってるよ」
ーThe concert is over at 10 o'clock.
「コンサートは10時に終わるよ」＝「10時までやってるよ」
ーThat event goes until October.
「そのイベントは10月までやっているよ」
