食事中にする会話じゃないんだけど…って英語でなんて言うの？

「食事中にする会話じゃないんだけど…」は英語に訳すとこのようになります。 Sorry to bring this up while you are eating but... This isn't a conversation for the table, but... This isn't something to talk about while people are eating, but... それを言った後に下品な話をしてたら自然です。 ご参考までに。

英語だと、これくらい軽い前置きにしたほうが自然です。他にも"I know this is not appropriate, but..."と初めても良いでしょう。” I know this is not a perfect topic for dinner/lunch but...”などと言うと、かえって仰々しくなって不自然です。
