I work in the same industry as you- Industry is referring to jobs within a particular area of the
economy or commerce.
We share the same job- meaning both jobs are the same or similar. It does not mean that you literally
share a job, but rather there are similarities between them.
We both work in the same trade- Trade is referring to a a job which requires particular skills or
training. " We both work in the building trade" " We both work in carpentry trade"
I work in the same industry as you.

Industryは、特定の経済や商業内の仕事ということです。
We share the same job.
（私たちは同じ仕事をしています。）
両方の仕事が同じ、または似ているという意味です。文字通り同じ仕事をしているという意味ではなく、お互いに似ているところがあるという意味です。
We both work in the same trade.
（私たちは同じ業界で働いています。）
Tradeは、特定のスキルやトレーニングを必要とする仕事を指します。

Counterpart - a person or thing that corresponds to or has the same function as another person or thing in a different place or situation.
"The minister held talks with his French counterpart."
When talking about the same business or enterprise as someone, youn could say: field, industry, area of work, profession, sector or industry.
"We work in the same industry - car sales."
When breaking down the economy, the first groups are sectors which describe a general economic activity. Then all of the companies that fall into that sector are categorized further into industries where they are grouped only with companies with which they share very similar business activities.
Counterpart - 別の場所、別の状況で、別の人や物と一致する人や物、または同じ目的を持っている人や物。
"The minister held talks with his French counterpart."

誰かと同じビジネスや事業をしていることを話すときは、field, industry, area of work, profession, sector or industryと言うことができます。
"We work in the same industry - car sales."
（私たちは、車の営業という同じ業界で働いています。）
経済を分類してみると、最初のグループは一般的な経済活動を描写している部門になります。そして、その部門に入る会社の全ては、そこから同じ事業でグループされ、業界へと分類されます。
▪ We are in the same business.
This means that your company and the other company have similar business/profession type
▪ We production markets are the same.
This means that you and the other person are selling the same products. You are sharing the market.
▪ We are in the same business.

The word "industry" means economic activity in the same area of business.
Example: Banking and Insurance Industry
Food Industry.
2. We work in the same field.
私たちは同じ分野で働いています。
For example if two people work in the Insurance industry it means that they both sell and promote Insurance products and services to clients.
If two people work in the Food industry, it means that their line of work centers around the production and distribution of food.
1. We work in the same industry.
（私たちは同じ業界で働いています）
この "industry"とは業界で、経済活動で同じ分野と言う事になります。

"Banking and Insurance Industry" "Food Industry."
（銀行業・保険業、食品産業）
2. We work in the same field.
（私たちは同じ分野で働いています）
例えば、二人の人が"Insurance Industry"（保険業）で働いているとします。
これは、この二人は同じように保険を売ったり、保険商品を販売促進したり、お客さんにサービスしたりしているという事になります。
もし二人の人が"Food industry"（食品産業）で働いているとしたら、彼らの仕事は食品を作ったり、配達したり食品にまつわる仕事をしているという事です。
A person can work in the same "industry," or "field" as you. If you have the same title, then you share the same "profession" as that person.
For businesses that are in the same field and have the same set of customers, you would say that they are "competitors" because one business is competing to get the same customers that the other company wants to sell/market to.
It turns out my next door neighbour has "the same trade" as me!
"The same trade..." indicates that the other person ahs the same skill set or abilities as you do...(you could say they are the competition!) In this case you really just want to say ....you share the same buisness model or output...

When you want to explain to someone that you are in the same trade/profession, then you can say the following:
-We are in the same line of work
-We are in the same industry
-We are in the same trade
-We are both in [sales]
誰かに同じ業界にいることを伝えたい時、以下のように言えるでしょう：
