必須って英語でなんて言うの？

必須は一般的に「Essential」と訳します。

例えば、砂漠に行くときは水は必須ですよね。

必須項目は「Mandatory fields」と申し込み用紙などに記載されております。

必須は英語でnecessaryやrequiredと言います。Requiredは法律や規則というニュアンスがあります。それに対してnecessaryは場合によって個人的な意見というニュアンスがあります。
