Estimate and Quote have almost the same meaning in the U.S. Depending on the type of business they will use one of these words. For example if you need to take your care to get it fixed you will get an estimate of the work to be done or the cost. Now if you wanto buy insurance for your car when you call the insurance company they will give you a quote of how much your policy will cost. At the end they both mean the same thing, its just that certain industries use different terminoligy.

Specially the best way to ask what the cost will be is "Can you give me an estimate?" The estimate of cost is what a service will cost before it is done, and it is usually approximate because the service isn't done yet and one can not be certain it will cost the estimated amount. "A price quotation " is also a clear way to describe eventual cost and price of a service or repair. "What will be the cost of the repair?" "Can you give me a quote, please?" A quote is a less specific and more general way to ask for the estimated price, it is better to ask for an estimate or a price quotation.
費用がどのくらいになるか聞くベストな表現は、"Can you give me an estimate?"（見積もりを頂けませんか？）です。'estimate' は、サービスが実行される前に示される見積もりのことで、大抵おおよその額になります。
'price quotation' も、サービスや修理にかかる最終的な費用を表すわかりやすい表現です。
