この場合は相手が忘れたかどうか断定できないので過去形にはならないのかな？と思います。

leaveには「残す」「離す」「出かける」などと色々な意味をもつ動詞ですが、その中の一つは「～を残して去る」という意味です。

これらは全て、忘れ物をしていることを人に伝える言い方です。
When someone leaves a shop/restaurant/etc. and they forgot something on their seat, and you want to tell them that they forgot something, then either of the above example sentences will suffice.
I would say 'Excuse me' first to get the persons attention and then tell them what they forgot or left behind.
Example: "Excuse me, you forgot your purse".
私ならまず初めに'Excuse me'と言って相手の注意をひいて、それから、何を忘れているのか伝えます。
例：
"Excuse me, you forgot your purse".（すみません、お財布忘れてますよ）
Any of these two sentences can be used:-
1. Excuse me! you left this behind.
In this sentence, we would shout the words "excuse me!" to get the person's attention, or to make them stop. Then we can tell them that they left something behind.
2. Hello! I think you forgot something by your seat.
Similarly, the word "hello!" would be shouted or said with a loud voice to catch someone 's attention. then you can let the person know they left something behind.

この文では、相手の注意を引く（相手を引き止める）ために、"Excuse me!"（すみません！）と叫んでいます。その後、何かを忘れていることを伝えます。

同様に、"hello!"と叫んで相手の注意を引けます。その後、何か忘れていることを伝えます。
