"I wanted to decrease the amount of stuff I own before I moved, so I sold some of my things at an auction"
「引越し前にものを減らしたかったから、荷物を少しオークションで売ったよ」
アメリカですとebayが一番人気のネットオークションサイトですね。よりネイティブ感を出したければ"I sold my stuff on eBay"という感じで使ってみるといいかもしれませんね。
