focus too much注目し過ぎるや重視しすぎと言う意味ですが、ここは比較をしていますので、結果より過程に集中をしているという意味であります。
そして"process-oriented"とは「過程指向の」の意味となります。
個人的な意見ですが、結果までにその間の過程がなければいい結果にならない恐れもありますので両方とも大事になりますね。
