「概念」という言葉を英語で表すと、この三つの単語を使っても良いと考えました：「concept」、「idea」、と「notion」です。例えば、「the concept of ~」と「the idea of ~」と「the notion of ~」と言っても良いです。意味は「〜という概念」です。例えば、「the concept of capitalism」と言っても良いです。「Capitalism」は「資本主義」という意味があります。文章に入れると、「I like the concept of capitalism.」など言っても良いです。

「概念」は英語で「concept」や「idea」といいます。「既成概念」は英語で「stereotype」か「preconceived idea」といいます。

I don’t understand this concept at all.
（私はこの概念を全く理解できない。）
