「大学1年生から3年生までの間」って英語でなんて言うの？

直訳に近い表現でしたら From the 1st to the 3rd year in university I …. 【訳】大学の１年目から３年目まで、私は… という言い方があるかなと思います。 しかし、英語の語呂的には短い方が好まれますので ~ for the first 3 years of university. 
【訳】大学の最初の３年間は〜 という表現のほうが自然かもしれません。 聞いた話ですが、freshman（1年）、sophomore（2年）, junior（3年）, senior（4年）はアメリカの四年生大学で多く使われるだけのようですので、基本的には1st, 2nd … year studentだと思います。

During the first three years of collegeと表現できます。 I was doing my internship during the first three years of college.（大学最初の3年間はインターンをしていました）
