『増えている』の言い方は状況によって色々あると思いますが例文を交えて教えて下さい。
個人的には has been increasing が最初に頭に浮かびますが、これを has increased にすると現在進行中な感じが伝わらないでしょうか？ また、getting を使った場合フォローするのは increased/increasing のどちらになりますか？宜しくお願いします
The population has been increasing in past few years.

→ ここ数年ずっと[右肩上がり](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/42519/)で、これからも増えるんだろうなという印象を受けます。
The population has increased in past few years.
【訳】ここ数年の間に人口が増えました。
→ 単純に事実を述べている感じがします。
getting の場合はincrease は続かないと思います。increaseはそれだけで「[増える](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/44676/)」という
意味を持つので、get 〜「〜になる」を加えると意味が被ってしまいます。
the amount of 〜〜 is getting larger ＝ 〜〜の量が多くなっている
the number of 〜〜 is getting bigger＝ 〜〜の値が大きくなっている
というような使い方は可能です。参考になれば幸いです。
