❶I don’t like beer because it’s bitter.
❷I don’t like the taste of beer.
My friends tell me that I don’t understand the goodness of beer becuase I’m still young.
In the first part of the sentence you explain that you do not care for beer and in the second part, you can talk about why you don't like it. In American English, when we don't like the taste of something, we say that it doesn't taste good.
I hope that this helps. :)
Because beer is made with hops which creates the bitter taste in beer. Hops are a special type of plant that helps to stabilize and preserve the beer. Some beer can be less bitter especially if it has been made without the use of hops. Some people seek out this taste and enjoy drinking it, while others do not.
There are a number of ways to say that you do not like the taste of beer.
The simplest is to say "I don't like bitter beer."
You may like beer, but prefer the variety that does not have that bitter taste...
Some beer tastes bitter and I don't like it.
I prefer beer that is not bitter.
Some beer tastes bitter and I don't like it.
I prefer beer that is not bitter.
Acrid' means unpleasant smelling or bitter. If that is the reason for not enjoying beer, it could be that you should widen your selection of beers or perhaps experiment with some of the contemporary craft beers that are readily available. Some varieties are actually quite sweet and soft or fruity!
If you are saying your not keen on something then you can say 'I don't like' - 'because it's bitter' describes the taste so you can also say 'I don't like the taste of beer'
'because it's bitter'(苦いから)は 'taste'(味)を表します。 I don't like the taste of beer'(ビールの味が好きではありません)と言うこともできます。
"I'm not a fan of beer as it tastes quite bitter."
This phrase uses a term "I'm not a fan" which basically means that you don't like something. If you are a fan of something then you like it.
"I don't like beer as it's bitter."
Here you describe personally why you don't like the beer and can use a different meaning instead of bitter if you choose or simply say "it's not your thing".
"I'm not a fan of beer as it tastes quite bitter."(苦いのでビールはあまり好きではありません)
ここでは "I'm not a fan" という表現を使っています。
"I don't like beer as it's bitter."(苦いのでビールは好きではありません)
あるいはシンプルに "it's not my thing"(苦手です)と言うこともできます。
Many people do not enjoy the taste of beer because it has a bitter flavor. In this example, someone is trying to explain that they don't enjoy drinking beer because of this bitter taste. When we don't like eating or drinking something, it is more polite to explain why you don't like something, rather than just saying you do not like it. For example: "I don't like chocolate because it is too sweet," or "I don't like anchovies because they are too salty."
"I don't like chocolate because it is too sweet"(甘いのでチョコレートは苦手です)
"I don't like anchovies because they are too salty"(しょっぱいのでアンチョビは苦手です)
