生の玉ねぎが苦手って英語でなんて言うの？

ランチの時に好き嫌いの話題になりました。
「私は生の玉ねぎが苦手です。あの苦い味が苦手で」と伝えたいです。
玉ねぎが「嫌い」ではなく、「苦手」で表現したいです。

- I'm not really big on onions because I can't really handle the bitter taste. 
- I can't handle fresh onions that well because they taste too bitter. 
- I can't handle freshly cut onions that well because of their bitter taste.

--- can't handle something = すごい苦手である
