The word "tab" means bill or how much each of you owe. For example:

<解説>
① bill=請求書, split=～を(縦に)裂く/割る から人数分で割るという意味になります。

③ share（共有する）でもOK。③のように①②のthe billをitにすることも可能。

辞書またはテキスト, そして, 高校の授業でこのフレーズが登場することがありますが, 多くの英語圏では使われなくなっています。Dutchは「オランダの, オランダ式の」で, 直訳すると「オランダ式で行こうぜ」になります。大昔(大航海時代), オランダと敵対していたイギリスがオランダに悪いイメージを持たせるために利用したのが始まりと言われています。軽蔑的に捉える人もいるので利用を避けた方が良いでしょう。

→ Itは払う金額を指しています。onは「接触（くっついている）」が本質的な意味合いですので, 「それ（支払い金額）は私にぴったりくっついているから！」→「私のおごり」と考えると分かりやすいです（なお, onは会話では「〜のおごりで」という意味で使うことができます）。
④Let me pay for ~.
→ let 人 do =「人に〜させる」です。

The phrase "go Dutch" (sometimes written "go dutch") has an interesting history that goes back to the 17th Century, when England and Holland were two great rival powers in Europe. There was a negative stereotype of the Dutch in England, which said that they were very stingy and penny-pinching. You might want to be careful using this idiom if you are with an actual Dutch person.
I know that, in Thailand, "going Dutch" is called "American share", because Americans were the first people they met who did this. Thai people were amazed when I told them we didn't call it "American share" in the USA.
