When you provide help for someone, in American English, it is common to use the phrase "help you out." You can also exchange the word "glad" for "happy:." In this case, either one is fine. I hope that this helps :)

of + 抽象名詞 で、「形容詞」的な意味を表すことができます。

interest は名詞、interesting は形容詞です。
