そちらの挙げた例でも意図は伝わりますね、他の例として最初の文は「他に質問などを思いついたらご自由に（気兼ねせずに）聞いてください」や次の「レッスン中に質問などを思いついたら気兼ね無く聞いてください」と「レッスン中」と付け足してます。最後のは「私はあなた（または「you all」あなた達）が何か質問を思いついたら気兼ねなく聞いて欲しいです」になります。

"Feel free to ask"という表現は「遠慮なく質問してね」みたいなことです。
"additional"は"extra"よりもう少し硬い言葉です。
