というほどではないって英語でなんて言うの？

単に「というほどではない」は「not so much」を意味しますがそれは状況によって変わります。

上記の場合は「I have heard that artists songs a number of times but it's not really my thing.」の方が自然な表現です。この文章には「it's not really」は「というほどではない」みたいなことです。

"It's not like it's particularly my favorite."
「それは（その歌は）お気に入りというほどではない」

"I've listened to songs by this artist a few times, but I wouldn't call myself a huge fan necessarily."
「このアーティストの歌は何度か聴いたことがあるけれど、私は特に大ファンって訳じゃないかな」

＊ Favorite: お気に入り
＊ Songs by this artist: このアーティストの曲、歌
＊ Call myself: 自分が〜〜である
＊ Huge fan: 大ファン
＊ Necessarily: 必ずしも、特に
