というほどではないって英語でなんて言うの？

単に「というほどではない」は「not so much」を意味しますがそれは状況によって変わります。 上記の場合は「I have heard that artists songs a number of times but it's not really my thing.」の方が自然な表現です。この文章には「it's not really」は「というほどではない」みたいなことです。
