話を蒸し返すつもりはないけど、って英語でなんて言うの?

前あったことをほじりかえす、蒸し返す。 直訳でニュアンスの近いものありますか?

まず言葉の説明: 話--> "conversation" 蒸し返す・ほじりかえす-->"to bring up"に翻訳できます。 文法:つもり・つもりはない Aつもりです。 "mean/intend to A" 大学院にいくつもりです。 "I intend to go to grad school" Aつもりはない "I didn't mean to/intend to A" 大学院にいくつもりはない "I didn't intend to go to grad school" 翻訳: 「話を蒸し返すつもりはないけど」 "I didn't intend to bring up the conversation again" "I didn't mean to"は慣用句ですが同じ意味です。文法説明の例文で"intend to"の方が自然ですから気をつけてください。基本は"intend to"の使いかたの方がわかりやすいと思います。
