I woke up at 3 o'clock in the morning because of the stomachache.
I woke up at 3 o'clock in the morning because of the stomachache.
I woke up in the middle of the night.
I took the medicine so it's better now.
I was awake in the night with stomach pain, but luckily the medicine I took sorted it out.
I had a bad night last night with stomach pain, and had to take some medicine around 3am, which sorted it out.
I had stomach pain in the middle of the night which woke me up, but after taking some medicine I was able to get back to sleep.
The first phrase is conversational, and tells the person what happened, without being too precise. The main thing is that the person was woken in the night with stomach pain, rather than the exact time this happened. In English we would probably say "in the middle of the night", rather than give an exact time..
The second phrase uses "a bad night" to describe what happened, and we can still tell the person was affected in the night.
The third phrase uses "middle of the night", and again is said in a conersational way.
英語ではたぶん、具体的な時間ではなく、"in the middle of the night"(夜中)と言います。
I woke up at 3am as I had a sore stomach, it got better after I took some medicine
My stomach hurt so much it woke me up in the middle of the night
If you want to explain why you woke up at 3am you would say 'I woke up at 3am as I had a sore stomach' or 'my stomach hurt so much it woke me up in the middle of the night'
even though 3am is technically the morning it's still in the middle of your sleep so could still say 'in the middle of the night'
'I woke up at 3am as I had a sore stomach'(腹痛で夜中の3時に目が覚めた)
または、
'My stomach hurt so much it woke me up in the middle of the night'(腹痛で夜中の3時に目が覚めた)
夜中の3時というのは厳密には 'the morning'(午前)ですが、まだ眠りの真っ最中なので、'in the middle of the night'(真夜中)と言えます。
"I woke up in the middle of the night. I had to take some painkillers before I could fall asleep again."
"I woke up at 3AM with stomach cramps. I took some painkillers and the cramps passed."
"I woke up at 3AM because my stomach was killing me. I had to take some medicine to relieve the pain."
"I woke up in the middle of the night. I had to take some painkillers before I could fall asleep again." "Middle of the night" suggests an odd hour during the night while you sleep. Painkillers refer to medication that, as the name suggests, kill pain. This is a casual way to explain what had happened and that the pain eventually passed.
"I woke up at 3AM with stomach cramps. I took some painkillers and the cramps passed." This example is similar to the one above but uses the term 'stomach cramps' or 'cramps' to describe pains in the stomach area - a common expression used to describe many different stomach related pains.
"I woke up at 3AM because my stomach was killing me. I had to take some medicine to relieve the pain." "Killing me" is a very informal and commonly used way of describing pain and how extreme the pain is. This example sentence also suggests that once medication was taken, the pain was gone.
"I woke up in the middle of the night. I had to take some painkillers before I could fall asleep again."
"Middle of the night" は、夜中という意味です。
"I woke up at 3AM with stomach cramps. I took some painkillers and the cramps passed."
"I woke up at 3AM because my stomach was killing me. I had to take some medicine to relieve the pain."
I woke up at 3 in the morning with stomach pain. Luckily, it got better after I took some medicine.
3 am is often casually referred to as '3 in the morning'.
Saying that you "have stomach pain" or that you "came down with stomach pain" are alternative ways of saying that your stomach hurts. Similarly, it is often more natural to say "I have a head ache" rather than saying my head hurts.
The final sentence is a casual and informal way of saying that you took some medicine and your pains got better.
3 amのことを '3 in the morning'とも言います。
"have stomach pain" や"came down with stomach pain" は、お腹が痛むという意味のフレーズです。また同様に、my head hurts(頭が痛む)と言うよりは、 "I have a head ache" (頭痛がする)と言うほうがより自然です。
If you wake up in the middle of the night with some kind of pain, then you cane xplain this by using a statement something like one of those suggested above. Another possible structure would be by using 'due to'.
Eg. 'I had a disturbed night due to a migraine.'
I woke up at 3 am because of a stomach ache. I took come medicine and it calmed down.
This morning I woke up because of a stomach ache. After some medicine it was okay.
I had to take come medicine last night because I was woken up at 3 am because of a stomach ache.
I woke up at 3 am because of a stomach ache. I took come medicine and it calmed down.
This morning I woke up because of a stomach ache. After some medicine it was okay.
I had to take come medicine last night because I was woken up at 3 am because of a stomach ache.
When you want to explain to someone that you were woken up the night before because of a stomach ache and you took some medicine to get better, then you can use one of these three sentences.
I hope that helps.
Have a great day.
Will
I took some medicine last night due to being woken up by an upset stomach at 3 am, but I feel better now.
I feel much better after taking some medicine around 3 am due to being woken up by a sour stomach.
A good expression for stating that something has resulted from something else is "due to." In this case, being woken up and taking some medicine was the result of having an upset stomach.
A way to express that one is well after being sick is "I feel better." Also, a sour stomach means that one is feeling stomach pain or sick in the stomach.
I had a bad stomach ache, and it caused me to wake up at 3 am.
I woke up at 3 am this morning with pain in my stomach.
If you want to express that you woke up at 3 am with pain in your stomach, you can express that in the following ways:-
1. I had a bad stomach ache, and it caused me to wake up at 3 am.
This sentence is simple and easy to understand, actually, it means that because you had a stomach ache, that you woke up in pain at 3:00AM.
2. I woke up at 3 am this morning with pain in my stomach.
This sentence means very much the same thing as the first sentence.
Here we can see some examples:-
1. John " Why did you wake up so early this morning?"
Lisa " I had a bad stomach ache, and it caused me to wake up at 3 am. "
2. Pete "Please take me to the hospital or call an ambulance."
Mandy "Why, what's wrong?"
Pete " I woke up at 3 am this morning with pain in my stomach. "
