注目を集めるって英語でなんて言うの？

「[新しい](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/52594/)法案が[注目](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/34095/)を集めている」 "A new measure is drawing attention" など 例： The event is drawing a lot of attention from around the world. そのイベントは世界的に注目を集めています。 drawing a lot of attention と言えば「たくさん注目を集めている」ニュアンスになります。

最初の例は「[注目](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/34095/)を集める」（gatheringで「集めている」）で次の例は「○○に注目を[集中する](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/36962/)」と言う表現になります。「attention」が注目、注意で「Focus」は集中するの意訳になります。

「注目を集める」は英語で get attention 又は gather attention と言います。どちらもニュアンスが同じですが、get attention の方をよく聞くような気がします。 もう一つの言い方は garner attention です。これは口語でも使えますが、どちらかと言えば文章の方で使われています。例えば政治に関する文章で garner support（支持を集める）と良く見ます。 ご参考になれば幸いです。
