「突き当たり」は「通路の、ゆきづまってそれ以上まっすぐ進めなくなった所」という意味だけど、英語ではその通路の種類によって言い方が変わります。
車が走る道路の突き当たりなら「the end of the road」だけど、歩道なら「the end of the walkway」。また、廊下だと、「the end of the hall」です。

When giving directions it is always good to be precise and give good ones so the person knows where they are going so you could tell them 'it's outside' but if it's easier to explain could say 'to the left/right' by ending 'at the end of the hallway' is exactly where they will find it after that

'it's outside'（外にある）と言えますが、'to the left/right'（左手に／右手に）という言い方もあります。伝わりやすい方を使ってください。
