Postcards, Postcards, Postcards! We sell Postcards!
You can make the sign more attention grabbing by being a little creative with the wording. For example, instead of just saying "we sell postcards" you can repeat the words so it reads "postcards, postcards, postcards" this is a very popular signage technique, it is also memorable. People tend to remember signs that are repetitive. Have fun with your sign and make it catchy!!
Postcards for sale or postcards for sale here are very straight forward ways to explain that you are selling post cards in that location. It will also help draw the customers attention having a beautiful picture/pictures of the scenery that is on the postcards on the sign, alongside or close to the postcards themselves if possible.
What does your sign say?
It says, 'I sell postcards.'
Great, so you have postcards for sale?
I certainly do, how many would you like?
I typical day selling postcards, right?
Try one out, see how it goes, and see which one suits you.
I hope this helps.
Have a great day.

Here are three different phrases that we could put on a sign in front of a store to inform customers what is for sale. Notice that the first two examples are very similar but are actually to different parts of speech between the verb, "sold," and the noun, "sale."
You can use any of the above phrases to advertise that you are selling post cards.
Examples;
- Postcards for sale! Get your postcards!
- I am now selling postcards.
When you are advertising it is important not to use too many words and to get straight to the point.
Simply writing the word Postcards will let tourists know what you have.
If you are battling with competition from other shops perhaps writing 'Wish you were Here!' would make you stand out. It is a familiar British English expression commonly associated with Postcards.
You could also say 'on sale' which suggests your postcards are a cheaper price than other shops.
Well, if you have something to sell, the clearest way to advertise it is to name it and put up a placard of some kind. Of course, you could elaborate by giving a little more information such as price or any unique selling point you may have.
'Postcards of local beauty spots available here!'
The most common way is to put up a sign that says 'Postcards for sale!'. This is simple and easy to understand.
If something is for sale it means that it is available to buy. The customer can buy postcards in your shop or at your stall.
Simply putting a sign up saying 'Postcards!' would also suffice, however I prefer 'Postcards for sale!'.
