"accent" は発音です。
We often say accent in America because we have so many immigrants from different parts of the world that accents vary.
People will often say things like " That guy's accent is so clear" or "He has a really thick accent" when we can barely understand someone's pronunciation.
So feel free to ask your teacher, "Is my accent clear?" or "Is my pronunciation decent?" because decent means something like "good enough".
"Do/Can you catch what I'm saying?" is also another casual way of asking "Do you understand me?"

- The most important part of learning another language is of course being understood so this is a good question to ask your teacher.
If pronunciation is a little off people should still be able to understand you.
However I would still recommend focusing on proper pronunciation.
