とらぬ狸の皮算用って英語でなんて言うの？

英語の有名なことわざを一つご紹介させてください。

Don't count your chickens before they 「are hatched［hatch］.→卵がかえる前からひなの数を数えるな。

このことわざですが、「とらぬ狸の皮算用はするな」との訳がより正確かなと思います。

（例）

It's dangerous to count your chickens before they hatch.→とらぬ狸の皮算用は危険です。

In the Legislature, you can never count your chickens before they're hatched.→州議会では、「卵がかえる前からひなの数を数えるようなことはできません［最後までどうなるか分かりません］。

I don't like counting chickens before they are hatched.→とらぬ狸の皮算用をするのは好きではありません。

Let's not count our chickens before they are hatched.→とらぬ狸の皮算用はやめましょう。
