  • ① Prices in xxx are high/cheap

[物価](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/48217/)は「cost of living」になりますが、渡航先の[国](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/51866/)に[住む](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/54237/)わけではないので、「① Prices in xxx are high/cheap」が良いと思います。 例文: Prices in Thailand are cheaper than Japan ジュリアン

  • The cost of living is low in Southeast Asia.

  • Things are (a lot) cheaper here in Southeast Asia.

  • Prices are low in Southeast Asia.

「物価」はthe cost of living, prices等で表すことができます。それが[高い](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/55491/)(high)か[安い](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/34508/)(厳密には低い、low)か、ということですね。Things are (a lot) cheaperでも、物価が安い、という意味になります。

  • The cost of things varies from country to country

  • In general, things in the UK are more expensive than things in Vietnam

  • The cost of living is more in Moscow

Cost of living = The expenses that factor into cost of living can include housing affordability, transportation expenses, food prices and entertainment costs. Cost of living is also tied to income. "How are you finding life in New York." "Well, it's a brilliant experience but the cost of living is much higher than back home."
Cost of living = cost of livingには、住宅費、交通費、交遊費、食費などが含まれ、 Cost of livingは収入とイコールです。 例 "How are you finding life in New York." ニューヨークの暮らしはどうだい? "Well, it's a brilliant experience but the cost of living is much higher than back home." んー、まあ素晴らしいけど、生活費が実家よりすごく高いよ。

  • The prices of things are higher in Japan than in Southeast Asia.

  • Things are less expensive in Southeast Asia than in Japan

Any of these two expressions are suitable:- They both mean that prices are cheaper in Southeast Asia than in Japan.
これらの二つの表現がふさわしいですね。 両方とも東南アジアの方が日本より物価が安い、と言う意味になります。

  • The cost of living is more in ___ .

  • Its so cheap in ____ .

The cost of living is more in ___ - You could add the country you was talking about this saying that the prices are high there to live. It's so cheap in ___- Again add the country you was talking about, Cheap means a low price. Example The ice cream is so cheap in that shop.
"The cost of living is more in ___" = "In" の後に特定の国を加えることができます。これは「___では生活費が高い」という意味です。 "It's so cheap in ___"(それは___ですごく安い) = こちらも同様に、"In" の後に特定の国を加えることができます。"Cheap" は「値段が安い」という意味です。 例: The ice cream is so cheap in that shop. (そのアイスクリームはあの店ですごく安いです)

  • Wine is more expensive in Japan than in South Africa.

  • Japanese cars are more expensive in South Africa than in Japan.

  • Diamonds are cheaper in South Africa than in Japan.

In the first sentence, you have said that wine is more expensive in Japan than in South Africa. When comparing items, some adjectives use 'more' for comparative and 'most' for superlative degree. In this instance, the comparative degree 'more' has been used because it is a comparison of wine prices between two places. In your second statement, the same comparative degree is used even though the product has changed to cars. Similarly, in your last sentence, you state that diamonds are cheaper in South Africa than in Japan Some adjectives do not use 'more' and 'most' for comparative and superlative degrees. Cheap is one of those adjectives. Instead, the comparative degree becomes, 'cheaper' and the superlative degree becomes, 'cheapest'.
代わりに、比較級はcheaper(より安い)になり、最上級はcheapest(最も安い)になります。
