関わるは「associate」や「to be involved with」となりますね。「associate」の方は"交わる、交際する"または"[共同](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/69272/)する"と言う意味になり「to be involved with」は"○○とかかり合う、巻き込む"という意訳になります。

to have to do with と to be involved という表現は「関わる」という意味を表しています。

1. a people's person
英語では、「人と関わるのが好きです」というのを「I'm a people's person」と言います。
「関わる」は色々意味がありますので、使う英語が場合によります。
例えば、「大学の時、ラグビーチームと関わりがあった」を「I was involved with the rugby team in university」・「犯罪にかかわった」を「He was involved in the crime.」と言います。
これは「人と関わるのが好き」などの時、「I like being involved with people」などと言えないので、気をつけましょう。
