気になることをとことん調べるって英語でなんて言うの？

「気になる」という表現は日本語のユニークな表現で、そもそも複数の意味があって、主語の性質によって捉え方も違います。

質問者は、おそらく「学習」に対してこの「気になる」を使うんでしょう。

では、学習やお勉強で、気になることができたら、それは something you don’t know や something you're unsure about にあたります。すなわち、「知らないこと」です。

例：If there’s something you don’t know, look it up thoroughly. / If there's something you're unsure about, look it up carefully.
知らないことがあったら、徹底的に(thoroughly)/慎重に(carefully)調べて。

「調べる」は　investigate という言い方もありますが、
硬い表現で、話し言葉であまり使いません。
例えば、「終電はいつなのか調べて」は Look up the time of the last train や Check the time of the last train と言いますが、
Investigate the time of the last train は言いません。
Investigate は、「調査する」に近くて、The police are investing the cause of the accident「警察は事故の原因を調査しています」など、シビアな状況で使うことが多いです。

let go で「手放す・解放する」という意味で、can't let go of ... で「…を手放せない」それをしないと落ち着かない、というニュアンスです。
investigate ... thoroughly で「とことん調べる」
