何かよくない知らせを聞いて気の毒に思う時に、I was sorry to hear about ... のような言い方をよくします。

「1日も早い回復を願っています。」
ーI hope he gets well soon.
「お大事になさってください。」
get well で「良くなる」という意味なので、「早く良くなりますように」と訳せますが、Get well soon で「お大事に」と言うこともできます。
