just read ... out loud で「ただ…を読み上げる」という言い方です。
read out loud で「読み上げる」です。
例：
I just read my notes out loud which took 20 minutes, even though I was supposed to finish in 15.

read my notes out loud で「原稿を読み上げる」
took 20 minutes で「２０分かかった」
finish in 15 (minutes) で「１５分以内で終える」
