昔はこういったものはなかったですって英語でなんて言うの？

すごくオシャレなお弁当箱をたくさん見せてもらい、こういうのを使っていた？と聞かれました。
その際に、
昔はこういったものはなかったです。と言いたかったのですがうまくいえませんでした。教えていただけると幸いです

昔 - in the past 、 back in the day ( カジュアル) 
こういった物 - things like these
なかった - didn't exist (存在していなかった), didn't have、weren't around 
弁当箱 - bento box、lunch box

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。

ーWe never had cute bento boxes like those years ago.
「昔はこんな可愛い弁当箱はなかった」

ーYou didn't see fancy bento boxes like yours a long time ago.
「昔はこんなおしゃれな弁当箱を見なかった」

things like this で「こういったもの・このようなもの」を意味し、back in the day で「昔は・自分の若い頃は」というノスタルジックで口語的な「昔は」を表現できます。

「過去にはこのようなものは一切ありませんでした。」という意味の表現です。
