「たまる」にはいろいろな表現がありますが、洗濯物の場合は"pile up"をよく使います。文章では以下のように使えます：

つまり「洗濯物がたまっている」という意味になります。
You can use "a lot of" for uncountable nouns.
But don't use "many" because this is used for countable nouns.
For example, We cannot say "one laundry", "two laundries" (with regards to the items), so therefore you use "I have a lot of laundry (that I need) to do."
2.You also mentioned "accumulated". Your laundry has been getting more and more. In this sense, you can say that the laundry has been "Piling up".
The more laundry there is, the bigger the pile will be.
a lot of は不可算名詞につき、manyは可算名詞につく、言葉です。例えば、laundryは不可算名詞なので、one, two laundryと数えるように言うことはできません。a lot of laundryとは言えても、many laundryということはできないのです。
また、accumulatedを洗濯物が溜まっているということで使っていますが、この場合は、pilling upということがえきます。
