I was thinking there would be a question like this!
「こういう」は “like this” と言います。「出る」はこの場合に “be” になりますが、他に “come out” “leave” “appear in” の英語もあります。 例えば “Water came out of the tap.” （蛇口から水が出ました。）とか “Please leave through that door.” （あのドアから出て下さい。）とか “My sister appears in that movie.” （姉があの映画に出ています。）など。
I kind of thought there would be questions like this on the test.
もし面接などの状況だったら、次のように言えます。
ーI thought they would ask me questions like this.
「このような質問されるだろうと思った」
もし試験などの状況なら、次のように言えます。
ーI kind of thought there would be questions like this on the test.
「試験で、このような質問があるんじゃないかと思った」
