「いつ結婚するの？」にあたる直訳は、未来形を使った例文3ですが、ネイティブだったら例文1または2を言いがちです。
ただ、When are you getting married? と言うとややおしつけがましいですね。You should be married already!「（いい歳なんだから）結婚したっておかしくないのよ！」なんて、どこの国でも母親が言うような感じですね。近所のおばあちゃんも似たような言い方をするでしょう。

まずこの英訳例では「ご質問者様と恋人が一緒にいて、それを見たおばあちゃんのセリフ」という設定です。ラブラブカップルを見て「おいおい、結婚するじゃろ？ 言うてみ？ 教えてみ？」みたいな感じです。このように「結婚するじゃろ」と決めてかかってくる場合は決まった予定や確実な予定を表す be going to を使うことが想定されます。この設定の場合だと will you と聞くのは変です。
次に tie the knot ですが、knot は「結び目」という意味です。tie the knot で「結び目をつける」という意味なのですが、これが転じて「二人が結ばれる」という意味が出て「結婚する」という意味になります。くだけた表現なので、ご指定のカジュアルな場面に合うかと思います。
さらに、お二人の答えが「〜に結婚します」であった場合には、おそらくこのおばあちゃんは他の人たちに言いふらしますよね！笑 そのときには「あの二人は結婚する言うとるわ」となり、結婚する可能性がさらに高まるので、Those two are getting married. や、Those two are tying the knot. のように現在進行形で未来を表す表現が使いやすい状況になります。
なお、tie「結ぶ」のing形は tying となり、スペルが変わるので注意です。「死ぬ」die が dying になるのと同じです。ぜひ覚えておいてくださいね！
