学校での防災訓練は一般的に "fire drill" や "emergency drill" と言います。例えば、"We had a fire drill at school today."（今日、学校で防災訓練がありました）と表現可能です。
しかし、防災訓練が火事に限らず、他の災害についても対策をする場合、教育環境やその内容によっては "earthquake drill"（地震訓練）といった具体的な表現を使うこともあります。したがって、災害の種類により変わる可能性もあります。
