I am able to understand easily." - In this sentence you are thanking your teacher for the way she/he is teaching you and that because of this manner of teaching you are able to understand easily. "I am able to grasp the thought easily, thank you so much." - saying you are "able to grasp the thought easily" is another way of saying you get the information that is being taught.

"Thank you for helping me understand everything." This thanks the teacher for helping you understand the whole lesson. "Thank you for explaining everything in such a nice/easy way. " This thanks the teacher for teaching in a way that helped you understand all of the information in the lesson.

When you want to thank your teacher for teaching certain things in a way that makes it easy for you to understand, then you can say it in the following ways: -Thank you for explaining things to me in a way I can understand. -I appreciate that you explained things to me in a way that makes them easier to understand.
