実は伝えたいニュアンスによって言い方が大幅に変わります。
On-demandとは「[いつでも](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/62769/)見れる」というニュアンスが一番つようです。
なぜ「on-demand」になっているかというと、ダウンロードできるからという場合
Downloadable classでも問題ありません。
また、「録画のレクチャーだからいつでも見れる」という点だったら、
video classと言っても問題ありません。

動画の授業は大学で人気が出てきています。

This would be a description you can use to describe the lesson where a video is also used over the internet.
long distance learning [LDL]
This would describe the case where you are referring to college or university but you don't have actual physical lecture rooms you go to, but instead, use your computer as the main instrument for your learning.

On demand means you can do something when you demand (want to) so it can be called an 'on demand class' if the class is taken online then it is called an 'online class' if you use video when doing the lesson you can also say an 'onine video class'

もし授業をインターネットで受けるなら、'online class'（オンライン授業）といいます。動画を使ったレッスンなら、'onine video class'（オンライン動画授業）と言うこともできます。
