自動運転って英語でなんて言うの？

自動運転車は autonomous cars, self-driving cars, driverless carsなどと呼ばれています。
Autonomous は「自主的な」、Self-drivingは「自動運転」、Driverless　「運転手がいらない」を意味します。

「自動運転車」ではなく「自動運転」ですよね。

「自動運転」は autonomous driving と言うことができます。

autonomous は、
「他人の助けを借りずに独力で物事ができる」
という意味です。
難しいので、私もあまり使ったことがありません。
「自動運転車」は autonomous car と言いますね。
