〜person という表現を通して
I'm a cat person. [猫](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/4038/)派です。
I'm a dog person. [犬](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/33805/)派です。
という表現ができます。
人が好きです、を
I'm a people person.
なんかは面白い表現ですよね。
ちなみに僕は完全なる cat personです。
犬も好きですが、やっぱり猫が好き。
会話の中でよく出てくるのが前者のAre you a cat person or a dog person?(猫派ですか、犬派ですか)ですね。
わざわざ派閥があるかのような言い方で面白いですけど、[犬](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/33805/)派と[猫](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/4038/)派ってやっぱり奇麗に分かれますよね。
cat person = 猫派
dog person = 犬派
余談ですがCrazy cat ladyと言う言葉があります。
説明すると猫が好き過ぎて家にたくさんの猫を飼い、少し頭のおかしい女性です。猫好きの女友達をからかう時に使ったりします。

- this means that you like something more than another.
So you are asking whether the person likes cats more dog and vice versa.
