There are never enough minutes in the lesson for me to complete everything!
New material takes a while to sink in with me - and we run out of time
To sink in = be fully understood or realized, register, penetrate, be understood
"Peter read the letter twice before its meaning sank in"
Minutes in the lesson - this mimics a well know saying:
"There are never enough hours in the day!" this expression means that you have a lot to do and never enough time in which to do it.
"Peter read the letter twice before its meaning sank in"
Minutes in the lesson -
"There are never enough hours in the day!"
I wish the lessons were longer because time is always up before I really understand things.
Time flies when I am taking my lesson.
You can use these variations to express that the time seems to pass you by during your lessons.
The time is really short.
I wish I had more time to understand.
Wow, time really flew by!
The time is really short.
I wish I had more time to understand.
Wow, time really flew by!
I always seem to run out of time during the lesson
There is never enough time!
I always seem to run out of time during the lesson- 'to run out of...' means to 'use up'. You can run out of time, food, tea, chocolate etc. If you find that the lesson material is hard, therefore you run out of time, you could ask to do an easier lesson. 'I always seem to run out of time during the lesson so next time could I choose something easier, please?'
There is never enough time! - this is a statement to say 'time is always running out'. You feel that the lesson time is not enough for you to complete the lesson.
out of time, food, tea, chocolate etc.
'I always seem to run out of time during the lesson so next time could I choose something easier, please?'
There is never enough time!
If you are wanitng to explain that there is not enough time when using different material in a lesson the simplest way is 'I always run out of time when......' another good way is 'There never seems to be enough time!' you can then maybe explain why there is not enough time to help the teacher better understand
”I always run out of time"(いつも時間切れになる)と言うことで、他の教材をする時間が十分にないことを説明することが出来ます。
There never seems to be enough time"(いつも時間が足りない)という表現です。
I always run out of lesson time because new material takes time to sink in.
It is difficult to understand new material and I always run out of lesson time as a result of asking questions.
For a student to understand what he/she is learning, it is very important for him/her to ask questions whenever he/she does not understand a word, expression or a sentence. It sometimes happens that because the student would like cover as much of the lesson as possible, he/she does not ask the questions and prefers to proceed to the next exercise. However, some students do not mind running out of time, so they ask questions whenever they encounter words, expressions or sentences that they do not understand.
So you may say:
I always run out of lesson time because new material takes time to sink in.
or
It is difficult to understand new material and I always run out of lesson time as a result of asking questions.
I always run out of lesson time because new material takes time to sink in.
It is difficult to understand new material and I always run out of lesson time as a result of asking questions.
I always run out of time before understanding the lesson fully
It usually takes time for me to understand difficult material, so I always run out of time during a lesson before I understand everything.
When you want to explain that it takes time for you to understand difficult material and always run out of time in the lesson before you understand everything; then you should say:
-I always run out of time before understanding the lesson fully
-It usually takes time for me to understand difficult material, so I always run out of time during a lesson before I understand everything.
-I always run out of time before understanding the lesson fully
-It usually takes time for me to understand difficult material, so I always run out of time during a lesson before I understand everything.
