子どもを預けるって英語でなんて言うの？

子供をベビーシッターには預けたい。
I want to leave my kid with a babysitter.

子どもを保育所に預ける。
leave one's child at a day-care center.
Putting your child in daycare.

カバンを預けてもよいですか？
Can I leave my bag with you?

銀行の場合は「預ける」をdepositと言います。

預けるは　leave　を使うのが便利です。

leave 〇〇　with 人

I leave my kid with my mother during the day.
（日中は、母に子供を預けてるの。）

こどもを家に置いてきてしまったら
I left my kid home.
（家にこどもを置いてきたの。）

これ↑↑は国によっては、ある年齢以下だと
法律違反になるので、お気をつけて下さいね。

Looked afterも、見てもらってるっという意味もあります。

The closest thing you could say is “I leave my child in your care,” but we don’t really use phrases like that in English. We would say something like “Thank you for looking after my child” instead.

If you are talking to a school, you could say,
“Thank you for always taking care of/watching my children (child).” 

If you are speaking to parents, you could say
“Thank you for watching the kids,” or “Thank you for watching (child’s name).”

I think in these situations, using “thank you” is a good way to start.

①うちの子供たちは日中は幼稚園（保育園）にいっています。＝　私は子供達を日中は幼稚園（保育園）へ預けています。　　主語が「子供達」にありますが、「預けている」という意味が伝わります。　英語では、その行動をしている本人が主語になる表現もよく使われます。

②　〇〇はおばあちゃんちにいます＝私は子供の〇〇を、親に預けています　　

③私の息子は私が仕事中はデイケア（子供を預かって世話してくれる保育所）にお世話になっています。
