AをBに当てはめて（応用して）みたら？ という言い方はどうでしょうか。

Why not 〜 は、Why don't you 〜 と同じで提案する時の言い方です。
これを使うと、次のようになります。

その上で例としては、
"Star Wars" is interesting, and you are interested in it.
