You: Your normal speed is fine
*You can speak at your normal speed.
This means that you would like the teacher to speak using the speed they would use if they were having a conversation with someone.
For example:
Teacher: Would you like me to speak slowly.
You: I would like you to speak at your normal speed.
例文
*You can speak at your normal speed.
Teacher: Would you like me to speak slowly.
You: I would like you to speak at your normal speed.
I would like you to speak to me at normal speed. Thanks.
Not too slow and not too fast. Just the usual speed should do. Thanks.
例文
I would like you to speak to me at normal speed. Thanks.
Not too slow and not too fast. Just the usual speed should do. Thanks.
It may be better practice for you if you are in an environment where people are speaking at their usual
speed. If your teacher asks if you would like it if they slowed down their speed of speaking a little, you could respond:
"Please speak at your normal speed," or, "Please don't slow down for me." Alternatively, you could say: "I'd prefer your normal speed of delivery."
"Please speak at your normal speed,"
"Please don't slow down for me."
"I'd prefer your normal speed of delivery."
"Please use normal talking speed." This is a polite way of telling your tutor that it is okay for them to speak at a normal pace.
"Please talk at your regular pace." This is another way of informing to speak at a regular speed. Pace here just means speed. However, since it is asking them to talk at their regular pace, keep in mind that this will vary from person to person. If you want them to speak faster just say, please speak faster, or if they talk to fast, can you take it down a notch...notch means level.
"Please talk at your regular pace."(普段の速度で話してみてください)
Can you take it down a notch?"(もう一段階遅くしてもらえますか)と言えます。
When you want to inform your teacher that you would like them to continue speaking at a normal/regular speed; then you may explain this in the following ways:
-You can speak at a regular speed
-No, it's okay. You can speak at a normal speed
-You can speak at a regular speed(普通のスピードで話してもらって結構です)
-No, it's okay. You can speak at a normal speed(いいえ、大丈夫です。
