  • I am going on a trip with the whole famliy.

  • My whole family is going to be going on a trip.

  • Eating with the whole family there is always very exciting.

By using this phrasing, you are letting the person you are talking to that your whole family is involved. Some one may interpret this as all of your family members (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents). To make it more specific you could say my “immediate” family will be going on this trip with me. Your “immediate family” include you parents and any siblings you may have.
with the whole family = 家族全員で I am going on a trip with the whole famliy. 家族全員で旅行に行きます My whole family is going to be going on a trip. 家族全員が旅行に行きます Eating with the whole family there is always very exciting. 家族全員でそこで食べるのはいつも楽しいです このフレーズを使う事によって[家族](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/32818/)みんな含まれています、と言う事を相手に伝えることが出来ます。 これをすべての家族[全員](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/66960/)と訳す人もいるかもしれません。 (叔母さん、おじさん、いとこ、祖父母) もっと具体的にするには次のように言うことが出来ます。 My“immediate” family will be going on this trip with me. (私の家族で旅行に出かけます) あなたの“immediate family”とは両親と、いるのであれば兄弟姉妹の家族みんなと言う事です。

  • The whole family

  • Everyone in my family

When you want to explain that you're doing something with the whole family, you simply say "the whole family" or "everyone in my family". The explanation of what you are all going to be doing is what is important. For example, you can say: -My whole family is taking a trip to the Bahamas for my wedding. -The whole family is getting together for New Year's Eve. -Everyone in my family has brown eyes and big ears.
[家族](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/32818/)全員で何かをすることを言いたいときは、シンプルに、家族みんなでという意味の"the whole family" または "everyone in my family"を使うことができます。 例 -My whole family is taking a trip to the Bahamas for my wedding. 家族全員が、バハマへ私の結婚式のために[旅行に行きます。](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/56726/) -The whole family is getting together for New Year's Eve. 大晦日に家族全員集まります。 -Everyone in my family has brown eyes and big ears. 私の家族みんな、茶色い目に、大きな耳をしています。

As a family is a common phrase to describe doing something with just members of your family, and that every member of the family is present.
「as a family」は、家族全員がそろって、家族だけで何かをすることを表します。よく使われるフレーズです。

  • 1. With the family

  • 2. With the entire family

  • 3. With family

The article 'the' is used when we are referring to people or things that are familiar to us or which we own, or which are unique to us. So we may refer to 'the children' when we wish to speak about our own children. Phrase 1 refers to your immediate family: spouse, children, possibly parents. In phrase 2, if you use the word 'entire' it would probably mean also your extended family such as uncles and aunts, or more distant relatives - as well as those closest to you. Phrase 3 would mean any one member or group of members of your immediate or extended family. "What were you doing last night?" "I was out with family celebrating my grandmother's birthday."
the'という冠詞は、よく知っている、所有している又は自分たちに固有な人や物を表す時に使われます。 ですから自分の子供について話す時には、the children'と表現することが出来ます。 Phrase 1 は 、配偶者、子供、場合によっては両親といった肉親を表しています。 phrase 2では、 'entire'という語を使うと、おそらくおじ、おばや自分に近い親戚と同様に遠い親戚も表します。 Phrase 3は、肉親又は親戚のあらゆる人やグループのことです。 例文 "What were you doing last night?" 昨晩何をしていたの? "I was out with family celebrating my grandmother's birthday." 祖父の誕生日をお祝いするために、家族と外出していた。
