問題って英語でなんて言うの？

「問題」という日本語には question, problem, issue という英単語があります。

「テストの問題」という場合、”明確な答えがある問題”なので question を使います。

A: Hey, could you answer the question 3?
B: Of course not, that was a difficult test this time.

A：「なあ、問３出来たか？」
B：「できる訳ないよ、今回テスト難しかったよな」

他に problem と issue についても簡単に

problem は”解決しなければならない問題”です。
例）パソコンの不具合、日程が合わない、等

issue は”明確な解が必ずしも存在するわけではない問題”です。
例）地球温暖化、難民問題、男女のいざこざ、等

それぞれどのような「問題」に使わているのか、調べてみるのも良いと思います。

questionsが適当かと思います。

などいくつか言い方があります。

「問題」は一般的に英語で「problem」と言いますが、「試験・テストの問題」という文脈で「question」という単語を使います。その文脈で「problem」を使えますが、一般的に「数学の問題」という意味として使います。

（テストにはたくさんの難しい質問が出た。）

I can’t solve this maths problem.
（私はこの数学の問題を解けません。）

（これは複雑な問題です。）

日本語の「問題」にはいろいろな意味がありますね。
テストの「問題」なら「question」が使えます。この「question」は名詞です。

発音はカタカナの「クエスチョン」とは少し違います。聞いて確認してみてください。

【例】

"There were some really hard questions on the test."
→テストの問題、すごく難しいのがあった。

「問題」という言葉を英語で表すと、「problem」という言葉と「issue」という言葉と「question」という言葉を使っても良いと考えました。ニューアンス的に、「question」という言葉は「質問」という意味があります。例えば、試験の問題は「test question」です。例えば、「I have a problem at work.」と「I have an issue at work.」と言っても良いです。意味は「私は仕事で問題があります」です。問題について聞くと、「What’s the problem?」または「What’s the issue?」を使っても良いと考えました。

テストの「問題」は、英語で "problem" や "question" と言います。

The problems on the test were quite difficult. 「テストの問題は結構難しかった。」

I didn't understand the last question on the test. 「テストの最後の問題をまったく分からなかった。」
