Even though/Regardless = にも関わらず
Ups and downs = いいことも悪いことも
Eg: “Even though we’ve had some ups and downs..” = いいことも悪いこともあったけど。。
I’m grateful = I’m happy = 感謝でいっぱい
We've had our days, but still, I'm glad to have met you.
Though we've had some hard times, I'm still glad to know you.
1番目の例文の "Had our days" は、「いい時も悪い時もあった」という意味です。
確かに「会う」は meet という言葉ですけど、この場合、know もよく使われているから、教えたかったです。
もうひとつの言い方は以下です。
In spite of all that's happened, I'm still glad to know you.
