In western countries it is generally the norm that when placing in order times, numbers or chronological information, the list or desrcription starts with the lowest, going higher.

You can use either of these sentences and you can also make a longer paragraph by saying, "I have two boys and a girl. My oldest son is 7, my daughter is 5, and my youngest son is 3." You can always add as much detail as you'd like. You can even use their names if you'd like!

If you want to make someone do some arithmetic to determine the age of your children, you could say "I have three children between the ages of 3 and 7. There are two years between each of my children.".
A very common way to say "children" is to say "kids". For example:

When we talk about age, we do not need to say "years". We can simply say the number, e.g. "I am 27.".

The two sentences you see provided above are terrific ways to express to your listener the ages of your children. In the second sentence you will notice the word aged. This means a person has lived for a particular amount of time. This is a word that is appropriate for formal settings. It would make a great addition to your vocabulary.

It depends on what country you are in to how you would explain how old your children are you might go from highest to youngest 7,5 and 3 or might go from youngest to oldest 3,5, and 7 you could also say 'I have 3 children between 7-3 years old'
